I was organizing some of my photos this morning and found this one from Quebec City, Quebec 2006. I guess it could be called old & new. New Subject: I cannot even express how much I loathe going to Lowe's and Home Depot. This past weekend I decided to be supportive of my husband's sudden desire to wreck (I mean remodel) parts of our house. I did discover the trick to getting an employee to ask if you need any help. You go sit in a chair at the paint mixing/window blinds section and start reading a magazine. I had 3 employees walk by, stop, and ask, "Have you been helped? My reply, "No, just waiting for my husband."

I think getting no help is better than getting too much someimes, like when they swarm at the disney store.
So, maybe if I ask for paints or bring in some blinds next time I'm at the Dr's surgery, I won't have to wait for two hours past my appointment time.
Nympho: I agree that in a store where I am capable of "doing it myself" I do NOT wanna get hounded by sales people but at "the boy stores" (as I call hardware places) the things you need are 10 foot high on the top shelf, etc.
Aesthetic:I enjoy your comment! Funny!
